BAKED VIDALIA ONIONS

Ingredients:
1 large Vidalia sweet onion per person (or more if you really like onions)

Red Balsamic vinegar
Butter
Salt and Pepper

Directions:
Peel outer layers of onions. Make quarter cuts a little more than halfway through each onion to help them bake evenly and soak up sauce.
Arrange in a baking dish, uncovered.
Place generous pat of butter in center cut of each onion. Sprinkle with vinegar, S & P.
Bake at 350 degrees until browned and softened. Baste with juices frequently as onions bake.
Absolutely delicious!
